In a significant administrative update, the Punjab Government has transferred and assigned new responsibilities to eight IAS officers across various districts and departments.
Rajdeep Singh Brar has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Bathinda. He will also serve as Additional Chief Administrator of the Bathinda Development Authority. Meanwhile, Rubinderjit Singh Brar, currently Additional CEO of the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion and holding additional charge as Additional Secretary, NRI Affairs, will now also oversee the Local Government Department as Additional Secretary.
Divya P takes charge as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Jalandhar, while Vivek Kumar Modi has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Barnala. Krishna Pal Rajdoot will serve as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Ferozepur.
Similarly, Davy Goyal has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Sri Muktsar Sahib. Kritika Goyal assumes charge as SDM, Mehal Kalan, and Rakesh Kumar Meena has been named Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.
This reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and improving administrative efficiency across Punjab.
