The Uttar Pradesh government has also reassigned six DIG-level IPS officers to new roles:
- Dr. Dharmveer Singh has been appointed DIG/Commandant, 6th Battalion, PAC, Meerut.
- Ajay Kumar has taken over as Additional Police Commissioner, Gautam Buddha Nagar, focusing on law enforcement in a high-density urban area.
- Dr. Arvind Chaturvedi has been posted as DIG, Vigilance Establishment, to oversee anti-corruption operations.
- Dinesh Singh will serve as DIG at Police Headquarters.
- Arvind Kumar Maurya has been assigned as DIG, Traffic Directorate, to enhance road safety measures.
- Subhash Chandra Shakya has been posted as DIG, Prisons Administration and Reform Services, tasked with improving prison management and reformative practices.
These changes are expected to strengthen law enforcement and governance in the state.
