Dhanaraj T, aged 53, has taken up the position of Executive Director at the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB). His appointment is effective from March 10, 2024, and he will serve in this role for the next three years1.
Prior to this, Dhanaraj held the position of Chief General Manager at Indian Bank. His career began as a rural development officer in 1994, and he holds an agricultural engineering degree from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Additionally, he has completed a ‘Leadership Development Programme’ for PSU bank leaders conducted by IIM-Bangalore and an ‘Executive programme in HR analytics’ (EPHRA) at IIM Lucknow1.
