The central government has assigned an additional responsibility to Devidatta Satapathy, who currently serves as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for the Syama Prasad Mukherjee Port Authority in Kolkata. He has been given the concurrent charge of CVO for the Paradip Port Authority in Odisha, an assignment he will hold for a period of one year.
Satapathy is a 2009-batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME). This additional charge is aimed at ensuring consistent and robust vigilance oversight at the major port of Paradip under his experienced leadership.
