Delhi witnesses major bureaucratic reshuffle; 19 IAS officers assigned new roles

The Delhi government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, reassigning responsibilities to 19 IAS officers across key departments. As part of the reorganization, Shurbir Singh, Secretary (Finance), has been given additional charge as Director, DAM, alongside his existing role as Development Commissioner.
K Mahesh, MD of DKVIB, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Secretary, Art & Culture, while Sanjeev Kumar Mittal’s services have been placed at the disposal of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

Several district-level postings have also been reshaped. G Sudhakar has taken over as Deputy Commissioner/DM, Old Delhi, while Ravi Dadhich, Ranjana Deswal, Vandana Rao, Kumar Abhishek, Shailendra Singh Parihar, and Lakshay Singhal have been appointed as Deputy Commissioners/DMs across various districts with additional responsibilities.
At the sub-divisional level, Ayushi, Kanika, Anuja Trivedi, Jarad Pratik Anil, and Piyush Kumar have been posted as SDMs in different zones of the national capital.

This extensive reshuffle aims to enhance governance efficiency and strengthen administrative coordination across Delhi.
