Delhi Police reshuffle: Varsha Sharma gets LG Secretariat Role

New Delhi: The Delhi Police has announced a fresh posting order involving three IPS officers, bringing changes to important positions in the force.

IPS Varsha Sharma, a 2010-batch AGMUT cadre officer, has been moved from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjeet Singh Sandhu.

In another key move, IPS Shivendra Kant Tewari, a 2009-batch officer, has been transferred from the LG Secretariat and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

The third appointment involves IPS Chinmoy Biswal, a 2008-batch AGMUT officer. He has been appointed Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations) after being without a posting.

The changes have been approved by the Delhi Lieutenant Governor following recommendations from the Police Establishment Board and will come into effect immediately.

The latest Delhi Police reshuffle is aimed at filling key administrative and operational positions, including the LG Secretariat, EOW and police operations.
