New Delhi: The Delhi Police has announced a fresh reshuffle involving five IPS officers, with new postings and additional responsibilities assigned across key wings including Operations, Intelligence, Economic Offences, Traffic, Welfare and Legal Cell.
Chinmoy Biswal (IPS:2008), currently Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations), has been given the additional charge of Joint Commissioner of Police, IPSO. He will continue to hold his existing Operations assignment.
Eish Singhal (IPS:2010) has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
Dinesh Kumar Gupta (IPS:2010), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, DPHCL, will retain his current post while also taking charge as Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic.
Vikas Kumar (IPS:2013) has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, marking his new assignment in the Traffic wing.
Meanwhile, Isha Singh (IPS:2021), DCP/Welfare, has been entrusted with the additional charge of DCP/Legal Cell.
The latest Delhi Police postings bring changes across several important units, with a mix of fresh appointments and additional charges aimed at maintaining continuity and strengthening administrative functioning.
