Delhi has witnessed a major shake-up in its IPS cadre with 24 officers receiving new designations. David Lalringsanga has taken charge as Special CP for SPUWAC & SUPUNER. Dheeraj Kumar now heads the Delhi Police Academy as Director (Joint CP), while Raj Kumar Singh is the new Joint CP/P\&L.
Other key transfers include Vijay Kumar (Joint CP/Eastern Range), Umesh Kumar (Addl CP/Security), and Ms. Pratiksha Godara (Addl CP/DPHCL). DCP-level changes include Nidhin Valsan (Central District), Ravi Kumar Singh (EOW), and Rajeev Ranjan (Rohini District).
Sharad Bhaskar Darade takes charge as DCP/Traffic, V. Hareshwar Swami heads the Outer-North District, and Sanjeev Kumar Yadav leads Crime Branch. Other DCP appointments include Amit Goel (South-West), Kushal Pal Singh (Metro), Hemant Tiwari (South-East), and Mahesh Kumar Barnwal (5th Battalion, DAP).
Addl DCP appointments feature Anant Mittal (North District), Rohit Rajbir Singh (Dwarka), Sandeep Gupta (Rohini), Sumit Kumar Jha (South), Narra Chaitanya (Outer), and Abhimanyu Poswal (South-West). Vishnu Kumar has been posted to the 6th Battalion and Achin Garg joins as Deputy GM/DPHCL.
