New Delhi, July 30, 2026: The Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi has cleared the relieving of three AGMUT cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, paving the way for them to take charge of their newly assigned postings in different Union Territories and states.
The decision follows the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) transfer directive issued on July 9, 2026. As per the notification issued by the Services Department (Services-I Branch), the officers will stand relieved from their existing responsibilities on the afternoon of July 31, 2026.
Among the officers, Mamta Yadav (IAS:2021), currently serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), has been assigned to the Jammu & Kashmir administration.
Rishita Gupta (IAS:2019), who is also posted as Deputy Commissioner in the MCD, will now serve in Arunachal Pradesh under the AGMUT cadre.
Meanwhile, Wairokpam Punshiba Singh (IAS:2022) has been allocated to Lakshadweep, where the officer will assume a new administrative role.
The relieving instructions were issued by Jitendra Kumar Arora, Deputy Secretary (Services), asking the concerned departments to ensure the officers are released on schedule so they can report to their respective places of posting.
The latest movement of officers is part of the routine cadre management process undertaken by the Union Government to strengthen administrative leadership across AGMUT cadre states and Union Territories.
