Chhattisgarh IAS Reshuffle: Several officers assigned key administrative roles across State

In a major administrative overhaul, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred and appointed 43 IAS officers to crucial positions across various departments and districts. The reshuffle aims to strengthen governance, improve departmental coordination, and accelerate development initiatives across the state.

Under the new postings, Ms Pushpa Sahu has been appointed as Collector of Korea district, while Dr Santosh Kumar Dewangan will serve as Collector of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. Mrs Chandan Sanjay Tripathi has been posted as Collector of Balrampur-Ramanujganj and Ms Santan Devi Jangde will take charge as Collector of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Mrs Padmini Bhoi Sahu has been named Collector of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, whereas Ms Reena Jamil and Vishwadip have been appointed as Collectors of Surajpur and Bijapur districts respectively.

The reshuffle also includes several important departmental appointments. Rajendra Kumar Katara has been made Special Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department, while S Jaivardhan will head the Treasury and Accounts Directorate. Prabhat Malik has been appointed Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister and D Rahul Venkat will serve as Commissioner for Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development.

Among other significant appointments, Mrs Roktima Yadav has been posted as Commissioner of Higher Education, while Mrs Leena Kamlesh Mandavi takes charge as Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board. Dr Sanjay Kannauje has been named Director of Culture and Ms Rita Yadav will function as Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education.

The state government has also entrusted Mayank Agrawal with the responsibility of CEO, CHiPS. Additionally, Rishabh Kumar Parashar, Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Director, Budget and Director, Local Fund Audit.
