Promotions:
Three ED officers have been promoted to the prestigious position of Special Director (SD):
Satyabrata Kumar (2004-batch IRS officer) is appointed SD for the western region.
Sonia Narang (2002-batch IPS officer) takes charge as SD for the central region and the Special Task Force (STF) of the ED.
Ajay Kumar Sharma (2003-batch IRS officer) will head the Special Director Investigation Unit-I at the headquarters.
Regional Heads:
New regional heads have also been appointed for various zones:
Harish G. Ram (2008-batch IRS officer) takes over as zonal head for Mumbai Zone-I.
Niraj Kumar (2009-batch IRS officer) will lead the Chennai Zone.
Pankaj Kumar Srivastava (2009-batch IRS officer) heads the Chandigarh Zone.
N.K. Mishra (2010-batch IRS officer) is appointed zonal head for Jaipur Zone.
