Ms. Brinda Boopathy, a 2015 batch officer of the IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), under the Department of Commerce.
Her expertise is expected to enhance policy implementation in trade-related investigations and safeguard mechanisms.
