The government of Bihar has carried out a significant reshuffle of IPS officers with fresh postings in key police and administrative positions. Dr Pravesh Saxena has been appointed ADG-cum-Commissioner, Civil Defence, while Nirmal Kumar Azad takes charge as ADG, Training. Sudhanshu Kumar has been posted as ADG, Law & Order.
Among other appointments, Dr Amit Kumar Jain has been named ADG, Economic Offences Unit, and N S Khan becomes ADG, Bihar Special Armed Police. Dr Kamal Kishore Singh has been posted as ADG, Railway, while Ajitabh Kumar takes over as ADG, EOW and Modernization.
Similarly, Sanjay Singh has been assigned as ADG, Budget, Appeal & Welfare, and Amit Lodha as ADG, Technical Services and Communication. Amrit Raj will head Cyber Crime as ADG, whereas Vikash Vaibhav has been posted as IG, Magadh Range. Kshatrneel Singh has been appointed Special Secretary, Home Department, and P Kannan takes charge as IG, Provisioning.
