Bhupender Yadav assumed charge as the Union Minister of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and Ayush Saran has been appointed as Additional Private Secretary to Bhupender Yadav, Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.
He was greeted at the office at Paryavaran Bhawan by Secretary Ms. Leena Nandan and other senior officials of the ministry. This appointment comes during a decisive period for global climate action, as countries are required to submit updated national climate pledges to the UN by next year
