Atul Gupta, currently serving as Director (Commercial) at Engineers India Ltd(EIL), has been selected to take over as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company. The decision was made during a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on November 17, 2025.
Gupta emerged as the top choice among nine candidates interviewed for the prestigious leadership position. His selection is expected to strengthen EIL’s strategic direction and reinforce its growth trajectory in engineering and consultancy services.
