Dr. Angamuthu, Chairperson of the Mumbai Port Authority, has been given the additional charge of Chairperson, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, for a six-month period up to March 21, 2026.
A 2002-batch IAS officer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, Dr. Angamuthu brings rich experience in port management and maritime governance. His appointment is expected to strengthen coordination and operational efficiency across India’s major port networks.
