Alok Sharma, IPS officer’s term as Additional DG, Special Protection Group extended

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat for the extension of tenure of Alok Sharma, IPS (UP:91) as Additional DG, SPG by temporary upgrading the post of IG to the level of Additional DG for a term upto 21 .02.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
