Senior IPS officer Ajay Singhal has been appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Haryana. A 1992-batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre, Singhal takes over the top police post from O P Singh. His appointment marks a key leadership transition in the state’s police administration.
