Ajay Seth, a 1987 batch retired IAS officer of Karnataka cadre and former Finance Secretary, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) for a term of three years. His experience in economic affairs is expected to provide a strategic boost to the insurance regulatory sector.
