In Assam, two IAS officers have been assigned significant additional responsibilities. Adil Khan, Secretary, Excise Department, who is already handling the Welfare of Minorities Development, Barak Valley Development, and Irrigation Departments, will now also serve as Project Director, Assam Resilient Rural Bridges Program (ARRBP).
Anbamuthan M P, Secretary, PW (Roads) Department, and head of multiple urban infrastructure initiatives, will now hold additional charge as Project Director, Assam Disaster Resilient Hill Area Roads Development Project (ADRHARDP).
