Abhishek Dhania, a 2012-batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on a deputation basis. His appointment is expected to strengthen leadership within the force, which plays a crucial role in guarding India’s high-altitude frontiers.
