The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer of two IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre from Jammu & Kashmir to Ladakh with immediate effect.

As per the official order issued by the MHA with the approval of the Competent Authority, the following officers have been assigned to Ladakh until further orders:

• Rakesh Minhas, IAS (AGMUT: 2016): Transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Ladakh.
• Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS (AGMUT: 2018): Transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Ladakh.

The transfer order was issued under File No. F.No.15041/08/2023-UTS.I and signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India.

The Ministry has directed that the order be conveyed to the officers concerned through the Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir. Copies have also been forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of the concerned Union Territories and other relevant authorities for necessary action.

Both IAS officers will assume their new postings in Ladakh with immediate effect, and the transfers will remain in force until further orders.
