The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Anirudh Yadav as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister Manohar Lal, who holds the Housing and Urban Affairs and Power portfolios.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Yadav will be appointed on a contract basis in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at the level of Deputy Secretary, with pay at Level 12 of the Pay Matrix.

The appointment will be for four years from the date he assumes charge. However, it will end earlier if the arrangement is co-terminus with the Minister’s tenure, he ceases to function as OSD, or further orders are issued, whichever occurs first.
