Bhubaneswar, October 7, 2026: The Odisha government has effected a reshuffle involving seven IAS officers, bringing changes in key district and departmental assignments.

As part of the latest administrative orders, Anya Das (IAS: 2019) has been appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Nabarangpur, replacing Dr Maheswar Swain.

Ashni A. L. has been posted as Sub-Collector, Bhawanipatna, while Kasturi Sha has been transferred as Under Secretary in the General Administration and Public Grievances (GA&PG) Department.

Madhusudan Dash, who was serving as Collector & DM, Nuapada, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the GA&PG Department.

Following the change at Nabarangpur, Dr Maheswar Swain has been posted as Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Madhumita (IAS: 2020) has been appointed as the new Collector & DM, Nuapada, succeeding Madhusudan Dash.

Meanwhile, Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Additional Commissioner at the Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development (F&ARD) Department.

The latest postings mark changes across both district administration and key state government departments.
