The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following appointments of several IAS officers:
Vipin Kumar, IAS (BH:1996), Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation as Additional Secretary, Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development.
Srikant Nagulapalli, IAS (AP:1998), Director General of Hydrocarbons, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas as Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
Ms. Sarita Chauhan Chand, IAS (AGMUT:1999), Additional Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Steel.
Anand Singh, IAS (KL:2000), as Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
Ms. P. Hemalatha, IAS (KN:2000), Development Commissioner, Cochin Special Economic Zone, Department of Commerce as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the Department.
V. Ponnuraj, AS (KN:2000), as Director General of Hydrocarbons, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India vice Srikant Nagulapali, IAS (AP:1998) upon his appointment as Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
Piyush Singh, IAS (MH:2000), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power as Mission Director, National Water Mission, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Mandeep K Bhandari, IAS (AGMUT:2001), presently in the cadre, as Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post.
Ms. Ankita Mishra Bundela, IAS (AGMUT:2001), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare as Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the Department.
The ACC has also approved that the period from completion of foreign assignments in respect of Anand Singh, IAS (KL:2000) and V. Ponnuraj, IAS (KN:2000) till they assume charge of the aforesaid posts in their respective Ministry/Department will be treated as compulsory wait in the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
Ms. Manisha Sensarma, IES:1995, presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skil Development & Entrepreneurship by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Director in the Ministry to the Additional Secretary level.
