In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government has reassigned responsibilities to 22 IAS officers across key departments and districts. Sameer Saurabh has been posted as Managing Director of Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Ltd (COMFED), Patna. Deepak Kumar Mishra will take charge as Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Patna, along with additional responsibility as Additional Director in the Office of the Mission Director, Bihar Development Mission.
Several officers have been appointed as Municipal Commissioners in major urban bodies, including Gaya, Bihar Sharif, Bettiah, Munger, Motihari, Bhagalpur, and Muzaffarpur. Others have been posted as Deputy Development Commissioners-cum-CEOs of District Councils in Patna, Nalanda, Samastipur, Saran, Gopalganj, West Champaran, Kaimur, Khagaria, and Saharsa. The reshuffle also includes new Sub-Divisional Officers in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, and adjoining regions, aimed at strengthening district-level governance and urban administration.
