The Government of India has promoted 17 Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers to the prestigious grade of Chief Commissioner / Director General of Customs & Indirect Taxes for the Panel Year 2026. In addition, five senior officers have been placed on the Extended Panel.
The officers promoted to Chief Commissioner grade include Akhil Kumar Khatri, Brij Bhushan Gupta, Atul Kumar Rastogi, Shubh Chintan, Manish Kumar Sinha, Ganesh Dutt Lohani, P V N Suresh Babu, Kul Prakash Singh, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Partha Roy Chowdhury, Gudavalli Sreenivasa Rao, Ved Prakash Shukla, N Sridhar, Jaideep P, Gurusharan Singh, T V Namdeorao and Kiran Verma.
Officers empanelled under the Extended Panel are Arvinder Singh Ranga, K M Ravichandran, B M Nalegave, Rakesh Goyal and Rajeev Yadav.
