In a significant administrative update, several senior-level appointments and post upgrades have been notified across key departments. Ms Vibha Chahal has been appointed as Director in the Food Department, strengthening leadership in the sector.
The post held by Ashish Saxena has been upgraded to the Director level in the Mines Department, reflecting an enhanced role in policy and oversight. Raghav Gupta’s position has also been elevated to Director in the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), reinforcing senior leadership in the strategic intelligence framework.
Additionally, the posts of Ms Geetika Sharma in the Mines Department and Bakki Kharthikeyan have been upgraded to the Director level, indicating a broader push to strengthen administrative capacity at senior ranks.
These appointments and upgrades highlight the government’s focus on empowering experienced officers with greater responsibilities across critical departments.
