Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) achieved a significant milestone by winning the Best Film of the Year 2025 – 2nd Prize at the prestigious FAI Annual Seminar 2025. The award was conferred for HURL’s impactful film titled “आशा से आत्मनिर्भरता तक,” which highlights the organisation’s transformative journey and its contribution to farmer empowerment and self-reliance. The award was announced during the Inaugural Session in the presence of senior dignitaries, including the Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, and the leadership of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI).
Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director of HURL and Co-Chairman of FAI, represented the organisation at the seminar and delivered the Vote of Thanks. His address reflected HURL’s commitment to strengthening India’s fertiliser ecosystem and promoting sustainable agricultural growth. Beyond the award recognition, HURL played a pivotal role throughout the three-day seminar.
Dr. Mohanty chaired Session IV on Futuristic Fertiliser Marketing, leading discussions on advanced logistics, innovative farmer outreach strategies, and the role of artificial intelligence in sustainable agriculture. He also engaged in multiple high-level interactions with industry leaders and stakeholders, reinforcing HURL’s collaborative and forward-looking approach.
The seminar concluded with the Valedictory Session, where Dr. Mohanty once again delivered the Vote of Thanks, summarising key deliberations and reaffirming a shared commitment to building a greener, stronger, and more resilient future for Indian agriculture under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
