The Bihar Government has announced a major administrative reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to several IAS officers. K Senthil Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Planning and Development Department, will now also oversee the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department while continuing as CEO of Mahadalit Vikas Mission and MD of the Bihar State SC Cooperative Development Corporation.
Pankaj Kumar Pal, currently Secretary of the Public Health Engineering Department, has been given additional charge as Secretary of the Road Construction Department. Meanwhile, Abhay Kumar Singh has been transferred to the Food and Consumer Protection Department and will continue handling the IT Department and BELTRON.
Divesh Sehra has been posted as Secretary of the Rural Works Department, retaining his additional roles in the GAD and Mineral Development Corporation. Saravanan M joins the General Administration Department, and Sandeep Kumar Pudakalakatti takes over as Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department, continuing as MD of the Patna Metro Rail Corporation.
