THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the prestigious IS/ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The certification has been awarded for its Corporate Office in Rishikesh and NCR Office, Kaushambi, underscoring the company’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical governance.
Congratulating the team, R.K. Vishnoi, Chairman & Managing Director, THDCIL, highlighted that this global recognition not only strengthens stakeholder trust but also enhances the company’s international reputation. He further stated that the certification will serve as a benchmark in corporate responsibility and ethical conduct, ensuring THDCIL’s growth aligns with both national priorities and global best practices.
At the ceremony, Chief Vigilance Officer, Ms. Rashmita Jha (IRS), emphasized that the recognition is proof of THDCIL’s dedication to sustainable development and transparent governance. The certificate was formally presented to her by BIS officials on 18th August 2025 at Kaushambi. Later, it was ceremonially handed over to CMD R.K. Vishnoi at the Rishikesh Corporate Office in the presence of senior vigilance and operations officials.
The IS/ISO 37001:2016 ABMS certification is an internationally recognized framework that helps organizations prevent, detect, and respond to bribery incidents. For THDCIL, this achievement represents more than compliance—it positions the company as an ethical leader in the Indian power sector, strengthening partnerships and attracting stakeholders who value corporate transparency. THDCIL is jointly owned by NTPC and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
