The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has cleared several high-level secretarial postings. Shri V L Kantha Rao has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources.
Piyush Goyal has taken charge as Secretary, Ministry of Mines. Additionally, Ms Trishaljit Sethi has been appointed as Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). These appointments are expected to provide strong leadership in their respective ministries and institutions.
