In a sweeping administrative overhaul, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has announced fresh postings and transfers among IAS officers, signaling a significant reshuffle in leadership across key districts and departments.
Vishakha Yadav has taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Papum Pare, while Kunal Yadav steps into the role of DC, Longding. Manjunath R has been appointed as DC, Dibang Valley, whereas Yashwant Meena assumes responsibility as DC of Kurung Kumey. Lower Subansiri now comes under the leadership of Namgyal Angmo as DC, and Fwwrman Brahma has been designated as DC of East Siang.
On the administrative front, Ankur Garg has been entrusted with additional responsibilities as Secretary of Planning & Investment. Vivek Pandey continues in his current position with the added responsibility of Chairman, APSSB. Yashpal Garg, now appointed as Commissioner, has been relieved from the role of Commissioner, AR & Training. Ira Singhal transitions to the post of Secretary, AR & Training, while Vivek H P takes over as Secretary, Health Department.
Further changes include Samuel Changkija being named Secretary, Agriculture; Tayi Kaye as Secretary, Fisheries; and YVVJ Rajasekhar as Secretary, APSSB. Mamata Riba will now oversee multiple portfolios including Civil Aviation, Gazetteer, Public Libraries, and Art & Culture as Secretary. Dani Salu steps in as Secretary for DM and PWD. Manjunath R has also been given the additional charge of ADC, East Kameng, while Yashwant Meena will simultaneously serve as ADC, Kanubari. Lastly, Anu Singh has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Planning Department.
