Eight IAS officers reassigned in Maharashtra’s fresh bureaucratic round

The Maharashtra Government has implemented a fresh administrative reshuffle affecting eight IAS officers across various districts and departments. Naval Kishor Ram has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Pune, a key urban governance role. Mrs Sheetal Teli-Ugale has taken over as Commissioner of Sports and Youth in Pune, and J S Papalkar has been named Divisional Commissioner for Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division.

Other significant changes include C K Dange joining the Chief Secretary’s Office as Joint Secretary at Mantralaya, Mumbai, and Saurabh Katiyar stepping in as Collector, Mumbai Suburban. Mrs Bhagyashree Vispute has been posted as Collector, Dhule, while Anand Bhandari and Ashish Yerekar will serve as CEO, Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar and Collector, Amravati, respectively. These new assignments are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to streamline governance and enhance administrative effectiveness.
