In a key development within the Ministry of Commerce, Nitin Kumar Yadav, a 2000 batch IAS officer from the Haryana cadre, has been assigned additional responsibilities. He will now serve as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of three major public sector undertakings—MMTC Limited, PEC Limited, and STC Limited—for a period of one year. Currently functioning as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Yadav’s expanded portfolio underscores the government’s confidence in his administrative capabilities.
