The Odisha government has allocated new roles to officers recently promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the State Civil Service. These newly inducted IAS officers, such as Dharam Hansdah, Rina Mohapatra, Lily Kumari Kullu, Aradhana Das, Narahari Sethy, and several others, have been designated as Joint Secretaries in various departments where they previously served as Special Secretaries.
Meanwhile, some officers, including Niyati Pattnaik, Maheswar Swain, and Srikanta Tarai, among others, will continue in their current roles, retaining their departmental responsibilities post-promotion.
