Fifteen officers from Odisha’s State Civil Service (SCS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) under the Select List of 2023. The officers awarded the Odisha cadre include Dharam Hansdah, Rina Mohapatra, Niyati Pattnaik, Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Mrunal Kanti Das, Srikanta Tarai, Birendra Korkora, Laxman Kumar Mallik, Upama Kalo, Lily Kumari Kullu, Kabindra Kumar Sahoo, Aradhana Das, Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Madhusudan Dash, and Premjit Nayak.
Their elevation to the IAS ranks marks a significant milestone in their careers and enhances the administrative strength of Odisha.
