Prabhat Tyagi has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the National Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation (NSFDC). He is a 1995 batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the Union Territories (UT) cadre.
With an extensive career in public service, Tyagi’s leadership is expected to strengthen NSFDC’s initiatives in empowering marginalized communities through financial support and developmental programs. His appointment aligns with the organization’s mission to promote economic upliftment and social inclusion for Scheduled Castes across the country.
