Five officers from the Non-State Civil Service (Non-SCS) of West Bengal have been elevated to the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS) under the Select List of 2023. They have been allocated to the West Bengal cadre and will now take on more significant administrative responsibilities.
The promoted officers include Saequa Monazza, Sabnam Mukhopadhyay De, Chinmoy Dey, Kunal Biswas, and Anindya Bhattacharya. Their promotion recognizes their contributions to governance and public service in the state. The elevation to IAS is expected to further strengthen the administrative leadership in West Bengal.
