The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the transfer of seven IPS officers to new positions. Upendra Kumar Agarwal has been appointed as Inspector General of Police, Security, Lucknow, while Vinod Kumar Singh will now serve as Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Kanpur City.
Amit Verma has been reassigned as Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Lucknow. Additionally, Bablu Kumar has been posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Police Commissionerate; Pradeep Kumar has been designated as Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Varanasi; S. M. Qasim has taken charge as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Kanpur City; and Manoj Kumar Awasthi has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Law and Order, Office of the Director General of Police, Lucknow.
