Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) has extended its ‘SAKSHAM’ Skill Development Initiative to CIPET Hajipur, Bihar, following its successful launch in Lucknow. This expansion introduces two new training batches, benefiting 80 unemployed youth from Begusarai, Bihar, with industry-relevant skills in plastic processing and injection molding.
As part of HURL’s Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) commitments, the initiative aims to train 320 youth across Gorakhpur, Barauni, and Dhanbad through CIPET centers in Lucknow, Varanasi, Ranchi, and Hajipur. The program was inaugurated by S P Mohanty (MD, HURL) and senior officials. The fully residential training ensures financial ease for participants, paving the way for sustainable employment opportunities and regional economic growth.
