In a significant leadership appointment, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has chosen Vineet Sharma as the next Director (Human Resources) of Yantra India Limited. The selection process, conducted on Monday, involved interviews with nine candidates, following which Sharma emerged as the preferred choice for the role.
Currently serving as Executive Director in the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), Sharma brings extensive experience in workforce management, organizational strategy, and human resource development. His appointment is subject to necessary clearances and final approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
Once officially appointed, Sharma is expected to play a pivotal role in driving HR policies, talent development, and workforce modernization at Yantra India Limited, a key player in India’s defense manufacturing sector.
