The central deputation tenure of three senior officers has been extended, allowing them to continue their vital roles for an additional year. Manoj Sethi, a 1993 batch officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), will serve as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Department of Fertilizers beyond February 4, 2025. His extended tenure will help maintain financial oversight and ensure the smooth implementation of key policies in the sector.
Similarly, Alok Prem Nagar, a 1995 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, will continue as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj beyond February 17, 2025. His prolonged tenure will support the ministry’s efforts in strengthening rural governance and implementing developmental programs effectively.
Additionally, the inter-cadre deputation of Akshay Labroo, a 2018 batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre, has been extended for one year. He will remain in the AGMUT cadre, serving in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir beyond February 17, 2025. His continued presence is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and governance in the region.
