In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has reassigned four senior IPS officers to new positions to enhance governance and law enforcement efficiency. Manish Shankar Sharma has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Rail, PHQ, Bhopal, where he will oversee railway security and operations. D P Gupta has been entrusted with the role of ADGP, Community Policing & RTI, Lok Seva Guarantee, Cooperative Fraud, and Police Manual, PHQ, aiming to streamline community-oriented policing and law enforcement transparency.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma has been designated as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)/ADGP at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi, where she will handle state affairs and coordination in the national capital. A Sai Manohar has been assigned as ADGP, Cyber, PHQ, Bhopal, a crucial role in tackling cyber-related crimes and strengthening the state’s digital security framework. These strategic appointments reflect the administration’s commitment to improving governance and maintaining law and order in the state.
