A significant reshuffle of IAS officers has taken place in Uttar Pradesh. Alok Kumar-II has been relieved of the charge of PS, Sports & Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Leena Johri is relieved of the responsibility of PS, Stamps & Registration. Key appointments include Amit Gupta as PS, Stamps & Registration and IG, Registration; Manish Chauhan as PS, Sports & Youth Welfare; and Dr. Muthukumarswamy B as Secretary, Finance.
Additional changes see K Vijayendra Pandiyan taking on the additional charge of Commissioner, Kanpur Division; Bal Krishna Tripathi as Commissioner, Vindhyachal Division; and Dr. Rupesh Kumar relieved of additional responsibility as IG, Registration. Vivek has been assigned as Commissioner, Azamgarh Division; Ajit Kumar as Commissioner, Chitrakoot Rural Division; and Narendra Prasad Pandey is now Secretary, Planning, and DG, Economics & Statistics.
