Ashok Kumar Kaluram Meena, IAS (Odisha: 1993), has officially taken over as Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) within the Ministry of Jal Shakti at CGO Complex, New Delhi. Following a two-month transition period as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the DDWS, Meena is set to lead the department in his new role.
Before this appointment, he served as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Food Corporation of India from August 29, 2022, until August 16, 2024.
