In a significant reshuffle of the Bihar administration, 22 IAS officers have been reassigned to new roles across various departments. Kartikeya Dhanji has been appointed Secretary, Road Construction Department, with Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatti also taking on additional responsibilities in the same department. Rachna Patil has been given the additional charge of Director, Museum, Art, Culture, and Youth Department.
Other key appointments include Minendra Kumar as CEO-cum-MD of the Bihar State Education Finance Corporation, Rahul Kumar as Special Secretary, Finance Department, and Yogendra Singh as State Project Director, Education Project Council. Abhilasha Kumari Sharma will take on additional duties as Commissioner, MGNREGA, Rural Development, while Rajneesh Kumar Singh has been appointed Inspector General of Registration cum Excise Commissioner for the Alcohol Prohibition Excise and Registration Department.
Other notable transfers include Kalpana Kumari as Additional Secretary, Agriculture Department, and Geeta Singh as Additional Secretary, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department. The reshuffle also affects various social welfare, technology, education, and disaster management sectors, with officers like Naveen Kumar Singh, Ahmed Mahmood, and Warish Khan taking on key roles.
