Nitin Kumar Yadav, a 2000-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Haryana cadre, has been appointed as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet approved his appointment, and he will assume charge of the post. His tenure is for a combined period of seven years, up to September 12, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier #IASOfficer
