In a significant bureaucratic overhaul, the Delhi government has reassigned 57 DANICS officers, issuing fresh postings across key departments and districts to strengthen administrative efficiency. The large-scale reshuffle covers senior secretariat roles, district administration, and sub-divisional postings.
As per the orders, Anand Tiwari, currently Special Secretary (Information Technology) with additional charge as Director, GSDL, has been given the additional responsibility of Special Secretary, Environment, replacing Sandeep Kumar Mishra. Lekhraj has been appointed Additional Secretary, Art & Culture, while Dharmendra Kumar takes charge as Administrator, DCCWS, along with additional responsibility as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Prashant Kumar has been posted as Managing Director, DCHFC, with added charge as Additional Secretary, PGC, CMO. Ramesh Chander Meena has been appointed Director, NDMC, and Shingare Ram Chandra Mahadev will serve as Controller of Examinations, DSSSB.
Further, Puneet Kumar Patel, Additional Secretary (Urban Development), has been entrusted with the additional role of ADM, Central, while Rahul Aggarwal, Deputy Director (Social Welfare), will also function as ADM, Central North.
In the taxation and district administration segments, Gurpreet Singh and Shimray Asaiwo Bellrose have joined as Joint Commissioners, Trade & Taxes. Kapil Chaudhary, Ankur Meshram, Nishant Bodh, and Shashipal Dabas have been posted as Additional District Magistrates in New Delhi, Outer North, North West, and Old Delhi respectively, with Shashipal Dabas also holding additional charge as Secretary, Delhi Minority Commission.
Dhole Aom Kashinathrao has been appointed Additional Secretary, DSSSB, with extra charge as Director, DPCC, while Alok Kumar takes over as General Manager, DTC.
At the sub-divisional level, a large number of officers have been appointed as SDMs across Delhi. These include Poonam (Gokalpuri), Himanshu Yadav (Shakur Basti), Abhishek Bhukkal (Shalimar Bagh), Shiv Singh Meena (Mundka), Harshit Saini (Janakpuri), Mala Sood (Sadar Bazar), Alok Garg (Adarsh Nagar), Vijay Singh Malik (Burari), Reeta Kaushik (Shahdara), Pawan Kumar (Model Town), Ved Prakash (Kirari), Ruchi Jain (New Delhi), Anita Yadav (Nangloi Jat), Nitesh Singh Rawat (Yamuna Vihar), Gokal Chand Meena (Deoli), Manoj Kumar (Chandni Chowk), Amod Barthwal (Vishwas Nagar), Jitendra Kumar (Malviya Nagar), Biju Raj E (Jangpura), Rajat Mehrotra (Vikaspuri) and several others at headquarters postings across zones.
Other key appointments include Deepak Pundir as Assistant Commissioner (Excise), Joseph Baxla and Ambika Ratnoo as DRCS, T Misao as Deputy Secretary (Home), Jitender Kumar Singh as Administrative Officer (Education), Manju Handa as Assistant Commissioner (F&S), Sanjay Kumar Ambasta as Deputy Director, DSW, and Ved Prakash Jha as Assistant Director, DOV.
Ms Parveen Singh Dhama has been directed to report to the Services Department.
