In a sweeping administrative reshuffle, 22 Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) officers of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) have been entrusted with additional charges across multiple postal circles. Notable highlights include the PMG, Dibrugarh Region now also serving as CPMG, Assam, and PMG, Jammu Region doubling up as CPMG, J\&K Circle.
Maharashtra Circle alone saw a series of additions, with officers from Mumbai, Goa, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, and Punjab West Region receiving expanded roles.
Several other circles—from Odisha and West Bengal to Gujarat and Tamil Nadu—witnessed similar dual assignments, indicating a strategic realignment to streamline regional operations and strengthen leadership synergy.
